I first heard Sandra Richardson read I will not cry during a Fairytale Medicine workshop. It made me cry then and it makes me cry every time I read it, it is very powerful and part of her collected poems: Most women I know written around her cancer diagnosis.
Sandra is currently living with Stage 4 breast cancer and wants to raise funds for Marie Curie Hospice in Liverpool who have looked after her so well, so she has made her poetry collection available on digital download:
You can purchase a digital copy of her poetry book from as little as £5 and all proceeds will go to Marie Curie Liverpool. And, if you are feeling brave, record yourself reading one of the poems and share it in social media.
Here I am experiencing I will not cry.
